One of the finest hotels I have ever visited. Beautiful facilities and grounds. Exceptional service and quality of staff (every one!). Perfect location vis-a-vis the town (without the bustle and noise). Though somewhat pricey, good value for the money spent. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a special experience in Sirmione.
This is the most beautiful hotel where I have stayed! I love that the hotel have gorgeous private garden. Green oasis in Sirmione whit short walking distance to Grotte di Gatullo and Castello di Caligero. Hotel staff is very lovely.
Hotel Villa Cortine exceeded every expectation. The property feels like a private estate with its beautiful gardens, lakefront views, and serene atmosphere. Rooms are elegant and spacious, many with breathtaking lake vistas. The staff is warm, professional, and attentive, making you feel completely at ease. Dining is superb, and the location is ideal—quiet and private, yet just minutes from the heart of Sirmione. Whether relaxing by the pool, strolling the grounds, or enjoying dinner overlooking the lake, every moment here feels unforgettable. A perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury—I cannot recommend it highly enough.
A true paradise on earth!
The food is amazing, the service outstanding and the premises of the hotel is the best in the lake to my opinion.
I for sure will be back.
This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely perfect and the customer service was top notch. Only guests allowed inside the grounds really makes you feel like you are somewhere secluded and revered.
Special place.

Tghe staff was attentive and prompt. Very well done!
One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything from the employees, the garden, the building was just incredible. I will definitly be back. Hopefully soon!
Stunning property, pictures can’t do it justice.
Massive private park is part of the grounds, complete with statuary and extensive gardens.
Private front deck area for sun and swim is served by the restaurant.
This is a wonderful property on Lake Garda, with a very nice garden, walking grounds, private dock, within very easy walking distance to the old town. Rooms are nice. We had an older room from the original villa. Breakfast offering is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Amazing hotel that definitely lives up the pictures and description. We had a wonderful week long stay here and are already thinking about returning. The property and facilities are excellent and the service was brilliant. The grounds are beautiful and we loved being able to relax around the pool. It’s a very good location in terms of being able to walk to all the major attractions in Sirmione and the ferry stop.
Only downside was that the WiFi was a little bit patchy but not a big issue for us. It’s also worth noting that there are mosquitoes around so you should take deterrents.
one of the most peaceful and beautiful hotels I've ever visited with charming private gardens and pathways to relax and dream. the room was clean and comfortable. restaurant dinner was excellent. staff friendly and very accommodating. all in all a marvelous stay. the arrival adds a bit of challenge and adventure as one drives through a pedestrian zone to get to the hotel's hidden gated entrance. all around a most wonderful stay.
Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Quiet and sedate.
Very big comfy beds, although pillows are foam and hard, asked for softer pillows, slightly better but still foam.
Lovely big bathroom, no bath but big shower. Eventually found the one English speaking channel (852). Pool wasn’t too busy on hot days. Easy walking distance into the town where there are lots of restaurants, although quite a steep walk home up the hill. Hotel restaurant was fabulous.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Food was outstanding and the restaurant/bat staff was very nice. The front desk staff was not that friendly, and a bit snobby. The power went off twice and the water run out twice as well. Hotel is definitely old school. Didn’t feel welcome most of the time.
It would not be exaggerating to call this THE most perfect hotel we have encountered yet. It is stunning. The grounds, its elevated position with great views, access to a private pier on the lake and a swimming pool that was actually civilised and quiet.
The guests were all polite and the staff are fantastic. I had one minor grumble here and they made up for it tenfold. Food is sublime. From home made pizza in a small van near the front dining terrace, to the wonderful breakfast and the five star main dining, they got it faultless. The service in the pier was great too. Almost don’t want to say too much more as it has a feel of being a hidden secret to it. We met a guest who’d been going 30 years and we resolved we might start on our journey to beating their track record. Honestly, terrific - 6 stars.
This is a beautiful property, the grounds were fabulous. Our room was great, had a nice view of the lake and overlooked the lovely pool. I had helpful interactions with the front desk staff. Overall, it was a nice stay at a lovely property.
I think they could make some improvements to their service to make it more in line with a true five star hotel. Our super tiny shower stall had a clogged drain, AC didn’t reach the bathroom, no extra towels provided, no drinks service at the pool, etc. The breakfast buffet food choices were fine, but the mains were not. Over the course of two breakfasts, my husband or I tried eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, an omelet and pancakes and all were just not good.
Sirmoine was cute but super crowded during our visit. Trying to find the hotel was a harrowing experience, driving through narrow streets barely wide enough for the car, all packed with people giving you dirty looks. GPS seemed to glitch in the area and we had a tough time finding the hotel. I wish the hotel had provided some guidance beforehand. Only guests of hotels on the peninsula can drive there, otherwise you have to leave your car in the Sirmone car parks. I only knew this from reading past reviews, otherwise would have never known.
