"The staff was very friendly, able to answer questions and constantly cleaning. The area is walkable to the main strip in Puerto Viejo. My friend and I were concerned before we arrived because questions about a shuttle took over a week for a response, but everything was fine once we got there. There was a power outage in town for about 4 hours. There was no backup generator, but we were still able to get breakfast."

The Howler Suite was charming and the view magical. The food in the restaurant was delicious. "The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside...
