"Nice place. The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Very laid back place. There's some good hiking nearby that will become one of your highlights on your Iceland trip. The food at dinner was good. Breakfast is basic and not a buffet, but enough."

"We spent two nights here in June. Great hotel. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need. If you are coming in the summer, note that they only have curtains to the windows and not blinds, so light does come in. We used sleep masks and were fine. Fantastic breakfast and big parking lot."

"Well maintained hotel. Wooden floors are not sound proof - I can hear people walking in next room. No need to book in advance as there are lots of rooms available in summer time. We booked our early July stay in March and found out the rate in July was 40% lower."

"Cozy, sweet little retreat. It was a bit off the beaten path and for a few uncomfortable 8pm moments we thought we booked something that did not actually exist :) Well, it's real and honestly in comparison to six other places this one won us over. It's not a luxury place, but it is so clean and so well maintained with radiant heat and nice loving touches like tea bags and coffee and little squares of chocolate awaiting us. Beds were comfortable, bedding soft and the way the two bedrooms were...
