"We spent two nights here in June. Great hotel. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need. If you are coming in the summer, note that they only have curtains to the windows and not blinds, so light does come in. We used sleep masks and were fine. Fantastic breakfast and big parking lot."

"Accomodation was good in general but a little smaller than we had imagined. Also we were two couples and thought we had booked a 2 double bedroom cottage but we had two rooms with bunk beds and one bedroom with two single beds and literally no luggage storage space in the rooms. We had to use the lounge area and one of the bedrooms as our storage space. The location was ideal for visiting Eastern Iceland, staff were friendly, and views were good from the cottages."

"Excellent breakfast, I recommend to pre-buy it when you book the hotel. Room is clean and staff are top notch. Only issue is that beds are too narrow ( less than 30 inches wide). Not used to that as a Canadian!"

"This is a hidden gem that everyone should get to experience. The rooms are wonderful, food was amazing and breakfast was included and plentiful. The area is spectacular. Definitely save time to explore the nearby waterfall that likely isn't in most itineraries but should be."
