"The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The views are exceptional. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had one of the larger rooms it was very specious and well appointed. A couple of minor points for improvement is that the water pressure was very low in our rooms and while we were there is was very unseasonably warm and with no screens the bugs do come in. Otherwise a great place to stay with a good restaurant and bar."

"Our room faces out the front and had a fantastic view over the loch. Very nice bathroom and well appointed room. It even has American style air conditioning which will cool / dehumidify the room. Just a small note of caution it is an old building so there is no elevator. It is a 18 minute walk to the ferry / train terminal. We organized a cab which was 5 pounds so we did not have to drag out suitcases. Breakfast was included with our booking and it was very good. We will stay here again with our next Oban visit."

"Room was very good (Room 19) had a small kitchen in it with dishwasher & fridge. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom was small but shower was nice and warm. I'd definitely go back."
