“너무 급하게 부킹하는바람에 별다른 초이스가없긴했지만 위치가 그저그랬고 한밤중에 도착했긴했지만 백패커들이 잘만한 숙소현관과 벌레가득 죽었는 모습이 놀라웠음. 숙소사진엔 분명히 2층침대 2개대신 2층침대 1개와 소파사진이있어 부킹했는데 2층침대 2개가 있어서 놀랐음. 방안에 거미줄이 많아 깜짝놀랐고 화장실은 새로 레노베이션해서 깨끗했으나 타올랙이 부셔져있었음. 방은 에어컨이 없어 완전 황당.”

Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. “Our time at Lions Lair was wonderful…. Winter WONDERLAND! Michael and Rowena we amazing, they were warm, welcoming, accommodating, helpful and full of tips and wealth of knowledge. The location was just perfect, we walked to Smiggin holes and when we travelled to Perisher it was a 5 min trip in a free shuttle bus. We also walked to our snow/ski hire place, Rhythm Smiggins.
