Excellent hotel in the heart of Sofia!

Excellent location in the heart of Sofia. Huge, comfortable room, though we couldn't get the temperature right (it was too warm in the room). Very helpful staff, though they don't have irons and ironing boards in the rooms and you need to use the laundry service to get clothes ironed. The plusses definitely outweigh the negatives--I've stayed in several hotels in the same area and this one is among the very best.

Hotel is located in a dead end street and quiet area. The hotel was built on top of ruins and can be viewed in the main lobby. We parked in front of their hotel for free. Staff at front desk and sit floor restaurant were excellent with great food. Gym had only one thread mill and the lots of weight lifting machines. The rooms are clean, good bed, spacious, with big bathroom. Would definitely recommend this place!!! Center of town is nearby!!!

A terrible experience

Hey, We went, my wife was a two year old baby and I booked a King suite suite - so I expected to receive a service accordingly, as I do in other hotels around the world (usually a King suite suite) Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness was very low, the cleaning was very basic, the room was not arranged as usual. 2. Air conditioner did not work at all, the day was warm, 28 degrees, without air conditioning. At the service desk claim that it does not work and be satisfied with opening only windows, at night was full of mosquitoes, we suffered terribly. - By the way air conditioning was in the dining room. So I think it's only a matter of saving the hotel expenses. 3. Low-level safety When you open a window (because there is no air-conditioning), the window height is very low and opens with a very dangerous opening so that a small child can jump away (pictures attached). 4. It is customary to pamper the suite in fruit and water, etc. We did not receive. 5. Breakfast - very basic, something lousy, on a level that has no salads and almost no vegetables, a little cheese and eggs, etc. 6. Elevator - God will keep - very slow and only one lift in the whole hotel. 7. Location, about 700 meters from the boulevard and about 10 minutes walk with baby and cart. 8. To this hotel I will not return at all 9. There is also a bar in first level that make so noise at the night

Archaeological ruins in the bottom of the hotel were unique. Very disappointed with what was supposed to be a 5-star hotel that would/could not turn on the air conditioning because they were still in "winter mode". Recommendation was to open the windows which brought in the outside noise and humidity.

Awful experience: while doing my booking I asked to provide me with a mattress topper and a summer blanket. The hotel did not reply. When I arrived, I discovered that non was provided. The bed was awful hard. Air conditioning did not work. There was dirt in the room (nails cut by someone before me near bed). The shower was overflowing. So basically awful sleeping conditions, and no good shower. Escalating the issue to hotel manager brought no result - as a consolation I got a voucher for a meal in their restaurant....

セルディカ駅から徒歩5分ほどのホテルで立地はいいです！部屋をアップグレードしていただけました。部屋はきれいで広くてよかったです。5月でもソフィアは暑く、室内も暑くエアコンを使いたかったのですが、エアコン使用は夏のみらしく、お風呂入った後の汗がいつまでも引かず、寝るときも暑くて寝付きが悪かったです。あと他の設備は整ってるのにティッシュがありませんでした。ティッシュくらい置いとくべきだと思います。また、土日の朝食が7:30と遅めで食べられませんでした。

Nice hotel but not for weekends

Make sure Not! to stay there during weekends! There is a dance club close to the hotel that makes the hotel's wall to shake and to be very uncomfortable to sleep. At the reception they said that it is like that every weekend. The 2nd floor contains rooms that are with window but it's like a close patio and not aloowing to breath. We asked to change the room and they changed it to an upper room which was great. During the week it is a very nice hotel and the staff is very good. The cleaning lady doesn't put water every day and doesn't add soap and shampoo. Location is very good!

Hotel centrale con un buon ristorante italiano

L'hotel è centrale, a due passi da tutto. Dichiara 5 stelle anche se in realtà io gliene darei non piu' di 4: la hall è molto datata e le camere sono arredate in modo non proprio lussuoso. Punto di forza è sicuramente il ristorante italiano situato all'ultimo piano, dove la qualità è davvero molto alta!

Great overall experience

Great experience overall and a voucher for a glass of wine, and another for Prosecco and antipasti in the rooof restaurant. Waiters were a little unresponsive in the lower restaurant. Rooms were a great size.
