Located just behind a busy road, but away from the noise. Banks & small supermarket around the corner. Ramayana mall at 10 minutes walk. Evening time the main road fills up with food stalls. Markings in the hotel are for City View hotel, maybe they just changed name. Room clean and normal size, hot shower.

I booked this hotel because I need to stay one night for preparing my live aboard diving trip on next day morning. I didn't expect too much of the hotel which is close to the airport. although the hotel staff English is not very good, they always try to help the guest which impress me. I took my meal in the hotel as there is nothing around Sorong. internet a bit slow compare with HKG and still acceptable to kill time in this small town

Hôtel étape pour nous, entre Raja Ampat et Kuala Lumpur. Bon petit-déjeuner, copieux et varié, la chambre sans fenêtre, au rdc, donne sur les cuisines et l'on entend bien les gens qui travaillent de l'autre coté de la cloison à 5h00 du matin.

nice hotel in a dirty, stopover city

Super clean, well run hotel, free breakfast. Excellent restaurant, tom yum soup, sweet sour prawns, coffees. This is my first review ever but did so because this hotel is a super find in Sorong. Nothing to see within walking distance tho. Gateway to diving and home stays. Cheers

Comparatively good hotel

The hotel is decent and close enough to the mall and restos. The rooms are not huge or luxurious, but the aircon and cable TV works good. Make sure your room has hot water and that the aircon filters are clean. Outside the hotel, take the small mini van local transportation as it is the cheapest and most flexible. There are a few decent restos around, but salad is not much of a possibility here, unless you buy it from the grocery store.
