Everything was great. This hotel is a outside the busy, touristy area of Sorrento, so it is nice and quiet. The views are beautiful and the restaurant had the best fried shrimp and calamari ever!

The property is very clean and everyone is super nice. The pictures on the website are exactly as it is. The property is on the water and the views are breathtaking. Mount Vesuvius is in the background. The on-site restaurant is very fine dining and the food is excellent. Great wine selection also. if I get a chance to come back to Sorrento, I will definitely stay here!

Hello, We absolutely loved the area and thought the hotel itself was gorgeous and very clean. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by an ongoing issue that made it impossible to sleep. From the moment we arrived, we heard very loud and consistent banging noises coming from the walls, which we believe were from the pipes. We reported it to the front desk, who did come to our room and confirmed they also heard the noise. We both agreed this was not coming from another resident, and this did seem to be from the pipes. However, they explained that maintenance was unavailable until the following day and nothing could be done in the meantime. While the staff mentioned this was something they had never encountered before, the fact remained that we were left in a room where restful sleep was impossible. This was extremely disappointing, especially given how beautiful and otherwise enjoyable the property was. Because the issue was unresolved during our stay and significantly impacted our ability to use the room as intended, we kindly request a refund through Expedia for this reservation.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Our room was the most beautiful hotel room I have even been in. The views from our balconies were stunning. The hotel is quiet and safe and easy to navigate. There are steps but very manageable. The breakfast was delicious and the terrace restaurant was amazing food and view at night was spectacular. Would Sedona stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in sorrento. The easy walk 10 to 15 min walk to city center is very enjoyable views on the walk we’re beautiful

The hotel has no pool. They offer you a private beach, but they charge you for it. The room was quite small and the Internet had problems. €400 a night is a lot to spend for a small room with problems (which they tried to fix and apologized for ) and on top of that they want to charge you to park the car and use their private beach.

We booked a junior suite for one night. We were told is was an amazing room (and more expensive than most). We got a room next to the reception/front desk - so it was super loud and starting at 6AM we would hear people coming and leaving and making a lot of noise. Terrible experience.

This is a charming property with fabulous views. Our room was huge with a wrap around patio, pergola with wisteria vines, a bed and outside shower - not to mention the most incredible views of the sea. The bathroom had a huge ceramic tile jacuzzi tub. Our dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful. There is an elevator that takes you down to their beach area, although you do have a small walk after you get off the elevator, just be aware of that. All this said, the only thing keeping this resort from being a 5 star review was that it appeared to have had better days, and perhaps it has been difficult since covid. The bed was not comfortable, the water flow and temperature in the shower/tub was not consistent, the beach area was run down somewhat. Our patio had not appeared to have been cleaned up before we arrived, so there was leaves/sticks all over the place (yes it was windy, so hard to know) You had to carry your own bags to your room which involved navigating stairs. We enjoyed our time there! Just know that there are a few minor issues that prevent this charming place from being 5 stars.

The hotel has its own private beach, which was so convenient and relaxing. We enjoyed it every day. Be prepared to walk at least 20 minutes into town on a hill. Also budget for taxi transportation on the days you don’t want to walk back up the hill. Overall, the hotel is quite lovely and all of the food and drinks that we had were delicious. The communication with the staff was excellent.

The stay was good. The view in the dining area where breakfast was served was amazing. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Different types of eggs - hard boiled, fried, scrambled. The pastries were amazing. They had this croissant with a custard filling that makes my mouth water while writing. Our room did not have an ocean view which I understand would’ve have cost more and most of the reviews suggested getting. Our room did have a large private balcony which was convenient for drying laundry. Now for the negatives- the main annoyance was that the AC (air conditioning) only worked when the room key (like a credit card) was in the slot, which meant that if we were away all day, the room was quite warm when we returned and then it took hours to cool down. Now I understand the rationale for not using electricity when no one is there but the hotel had the AC blasting in the hallway continuously which to me would seem to negate the cost saving to keep it off in the guests’ rooms. On this trip, we stayed in several hotels (Venice, Rome) where the AC was on in the room continuously and not on in the hallway. We really appreciated a cool comfortable room after being in the heat - Sorrento was only about 26 C (80 F) but the humidity was 76%; Rome was 37 C or 100 F. The other annoyance was the sit down shower - it was a bathtub with a hand wand for the shower. It did have good water pressure but sitting taking a shower was weird.
