My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the mango villa. It was a bit of a change from the beach vibe we’re used to but we quickly adjusted and found that we like both equally. If you are looking for a quiet and laid back vacation, I’d highly recommend this place.

An absolutely gorgeous spot nestled among the forest. Our cottage was charming and spotless. From our welcome drink, to our shuttle to the airport, the staff here was incredibly friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the hike to Piton View!

This is a 250 year-old plantation with updated cottages spread throughout over the property. If you like a natural and lush environment, you will be VERY happy here. Proximity to the sites of St. Lucia are perfect, considering most of them are in the Soufriere area. This is just south of town in the edge of the rainforest. The staff is attentive and helpful and the restaurant is pretty good so you could eat here all you want, but there are excellent restaurants in the area if you want to get off property. They have some accommodations in the front where you would not have to do a lot of stairs, but many of the cottages are on a hilltop with a lot of stairs to access them. Be careful as you pick your cabin to make sure it is compatible withyour physical abilities. The staff is personable and they have a free shuttle to Sugar Beach every day just a few minutes away, and they provide beach towels. I would also highly recommend the chocolate inside considering there’s a fraction of the price of the nearby resort. We enjoyed it, but you’d need to be a nature lover to really appreciate it

We spent 5 days at Fond Doux and had a wonderful time! The staff was professional and friendly. We thought our room was spacious, clean and beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and there was a great variety food and service was excellent. We spent a lot of time exploring the area and coming back to Fond Doux felt like coming home. We loved the pools and we enjoyed the bar!

Staff are lovely. Food is great. Property is a bit quirky and dated but you get what you pay for. Grounds are beautiful. Remember it is in a jungle and it sounds like that during the night! There is a lot of wildlife noise.

This place is such a hidden gem. The staff is so very friendly and helpful. Each of the rooms is in their own little cabin, and ours was very tastefully decorated. This resort is close to lots of things to do. And easy drive into town for dinner, to Gros Piton for a hike or to Sugar Beach for a dip. The resort restaurant is delicious, and we could have eaten all of our meals here.

Beautiful property set amongst cocoa trees and luscious jungle. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the water refill station to negate the use of plastic water bottles. The pools were cool and fresh, and the onsite fitness classes are a wonderful addition. Location is perfect, being close to many incredible activities and sights. I 100% recommend for your stay in St. Lucia.

Please know what kind of traveler you are before booking this place. This is for the low maintenance nature lovers. Everyone has been so kind and sweet. Whitney took me on an amazing hike/tour included with my stay and I got to see the views of petit Peyton. Breakfast was amazing but often ran out of items , natural and fresh. Though the cottages is outdated..it’s worth it again this isn’t for the high maintenance. Bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed my patio. My cottage didn’t have a TV, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me as I had my kindle and journal. I enjoyed every meal at their restaurant. Some items were different but I tried it for the experience.
