“This reasonable priced motel is a great choice if you’re spending a few days pre-cruise. It is just down the road from Anchorage off by itself near great hiking and convenient to the glaciers. The exterior is a bit dated, but our room had been nicely updated with all the standard expectations along with some charming touches. It is a virtual check in; however, the host was very responsive to email or text which made it super easy. Would definitely stay here again.”
“Honestly for the price there’s better options than the aspen. The best western offers nicer rooms and a decent free breakfast. This place just doesn’t have anything to offer and the staff are average at best. Comparing the experience of staying at both hotels it became clear that the best western was the better value and the staff seemed to be happier with their job than the ones at the aspen.”
“Best accommodations experience of trip. Nothing luxurious just solid. Friendly accommodating staff, tidy efficient room with good decent mattress, really good pillows and linens, and excellent shower pressure! The AC unit cooled fine but was a little noisy. And we loved being able to park right outside our door, just like “motel” implies. I’ll enthusiastically recommend this hotel to friends who often stay in fancier places.”
