“Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. ”

“This hotel is full of character, but the fittings, bathroom, bed are all thoroughly modern, crisp and clean. Breakfast was great, the staff weekday and weekend were very helpful. Dinner was good - the menu extensive enough to provide options for each evening they were there. Ability to park safely onsite is always welcome. The locatio is superb. I'd say top of the grade for a 3-star property. ”

I am not scared of the atmosphere of living plant and animal nature, I love it. but when there is dirt and terrible chaos around, garbage is lying around the territory and you are met by a man in terrible dirty clothes… I felt dangerous and wanted to run away. the road to the hotel is terrible and has one-way traffic. swamp and darkness. I have no idea what to do if someone comes the other way. feeling unsafe and dirty. we said that we did not want to stay...

Also, a guest in an above room to ours left his bath tap running & then laid on his bed to "rest" causing his room & ours, to flood! I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder...
