"We stayed at this property as a quick overnight before heading off on vacation. The shuttle availability was excellent and the staff was friendly. The property has everything, including meals, if you are getting in late. Overall a nice stop, but the room was dated and in need of updating, but very livable. We would return for this purpose."

"The property was very nice, with a lot of amenities: 2 pools, 3 bars, an exercise room, outdoor lawn games such as jumbo chess, shuffleboard, bean bag toss, and foosball. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. One disappointment was the lack of an airport shuttle. We flew directly into Key West and chose the Blue Flamingo partially because we read they had a free shuttle service. Unfortunately, the shuttle doesn't pick up or drop off guests at the airport. It has one location in the downtown area it shuttles guests to every hour on the hour (which needs to be reserved in advance), and offers pick up from the same location every hour on the 1/2 hour. We ended up using Uber most of the time. Another disappointment was the elevator. The property is quite large, with one main 6-story building and another smaller 2-story building. There are 2 elevators, one of which was inoperable during our entire stay. That meant that all guests plus housekeeping were limited to one small elevator. We ended up taking the stairs for our many trips up and down, which got to be a bit much since we were on the 5th floor. A broken coffee maker was promptly fixed, and a weird situation with our door mechanism (neither we nor housekeeping could get into our room) was addressed, but we didn't get housekeeping during our stay even when we asked for it. I noticed a mysterious charge on my bill. When I called to ask about it I was told someone would call me back. They didn't."

"Broken elevators, our family even though we booked together we were not in the same floor, broken shower and toilet and zero accountability onsite or help from mgmt to resolve issues - they ignore you and hope you will just give up "

"The property is right on the beach and really easy to get too. The staff was really nice. They do not replace your sheets unless requested. They only replace linens every 3 days so if that’s not cool for you I wouldn’t stay here. They also don’t give you towels when they clean the rooms. You have to request them and I did not receive the face towels I wanted when I asked. They provide free beach towels and chairs if you’re going to the beach which was really nice and you get 15% off the restaurants connected to the hotel for all meals and Meet Dalia gives you a free breakfast. It’s enough unless you want eggs and meats. You can’t hear the room next to you however you can hear when people slam the door in the hallways. If you’re coming for a few days it’s a good hotel!"

"A bit run down, but enjoyed the 60’s vibe. Pool area was nice. Could use a deep clean and fresh paint."
