"Hotel is in relatively good shape and our room was spacious. Location near playground, lake trail, and public pool complex is great. Restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Check-in process was not great (staff checked us into 1 room then had to do process all over again when we pointed out we had booked 2 rooms) nor was check-out (I paid minibar and room, my wife came down a few minutes later to drop off key and was asked to pay minibar again). "We stayed to attend a show at Skaters Palace. For this, the location was perfect — less than 1km walk to venue. Parking was free, but EV charging required a membership to SW Münster, so we weren’t able to charge our car, which was annoying. Breakfast was very good. Very nice, big showers. Clean rooms. Not the quietest as it’s right next to the Kongresszentrum. Rooms on the parking lot side are worse than rooms at the front of the hotel, despite the street."

Functional!

"Superb location right across from the train station where coffee shops, bakeries and other fast food options can be found. 10-15 mins walk from historical areas. Room and hotel were clean, got a welcome drink too. Not a cozy place per se, just very functional - I think that's what they are going for. There are a few interesting points that I'd like to point out for non-German guests (as I think it's pretty standard in Germany because now I've stayed in 4 hotels here and they are the same): - "double" bed means two single beds put together. Size wise, yes maybe it's a double, but there's a crack in the middle with two small comforters on top, so what's the point if I can only sleep on one single side anyways? If you are thinking of upgrading because of the bed option, say from a single bed to a double, or two singles to one double, don't bother. If you are a couple and prefers to sleep on the same bed, you will be sleeping on different mattresses. - body wash, shampoo, facial wash - all in one. All four hotels I stayed in had similar one bottle of liquid soap for all washings. If you care about this stuff, now you know to bring extra products. "
