“We had a great 1 night stay here. Excellent location on the lagoon, near the beach and restaurants/ bars nearby. Small resort which looks lovely on the outside. The rooms and balconies are huge and very quiet. The host was very friendly and helped arrange a transfer to Colombo airport the following day. He was very responsive via text and happy to help with anything. The breakfast was also very nice. Excellent value for money! ”

“Unfortunately this place is in desperate need of investment. The kerb appeal is very good but the jetty for example is falling into the river and not as pictured. The room wasn't very clean which is a great pity as the owner is very friendly. The food was lovely, we had both Breakfast and evening meals and could not fault them. It just a great shame that it is not as good as it could be. If the owner makes a investment in his property he could definitely charge more to stay.”

“The place is app 15 minutes drive from the fort and the area is rather rural. The hotel has no restaurant and it is quite dirty. Especially the pool. The owners are very sweet and sericeminded but dont speak English. But they help you with everything. Unfortunately you CANNOT pay by card. That meant the owner spent the mirning driving me from ATM to ATM in order to gather enough cash to pay. Ridicilous! ”
