South West England, England hotel rooms at the Greene King

"Convenient for our trip away from Bristol Airport. The room is spacious but somewhat dated albeit comfortable. Only real point of improvement would be to fit blackout curtains as with light being on outside the room, it never really got dark."

"We had a lovely stay at the cross hands old sodbury We checked in and on arrival we where told breakfast was between 7.00 am & 10.00 am So that was fine but on the Saturday we wanted breakfast at 7.00 as we where showing dogs in a dog show at Bath Only to be told breakfast was between 8.00 and 10.00 on a weekend So we had to miss breakfast As we had to leave at 8.00 am Wasn’t happy as I had paid for two breakfasts which we didn’t get"

"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...

"Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "

"Pleasent stay, very dog friendly, lovely staff and great location for walks by the beach. We also had dinner and breakfast in the pub and both meals were really good. "

"Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."
