Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! The suites need more photos of the outside and the whole property could do with more signage it’s easy to get lost there are some signs but they’re not clear so we got lost a few times. If you’re...

Supermarket very nearby and easy walking distance to the centre of town with access to lots of shopping and entertainment options and public transportation. "Great location next to terminal. Check in was so quick and simple. All the staff were fantastic, polite and efficient but special mention to the supervisor/manager Lauren. So friendly, efficient and professional. I haven't stayed here for a number of years, but remembered her from last time as she helped us and was brilliant the last visit. Room was spotless, housekeeping do a wonderful job. Possibly cleanest room I've ever stayed in home and abroad. I will always use this hotel when flying from Bristol."

"Staff were lovely, receptionists very helpful, Sunday lunch was good again restaurant staff helpful and polite our room and bathroom was very clean a few grubby marks on the carpets were a little off putting otherwise a good size room. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet which was well looked after and replenished plus a good selection of hot food from the menu. Will probably visit again soon as we felt welcomed and looked after. The Gainsborough Bath Spa

The Gainsborough Bath Spa

8/10 Good
"The stay itself was excellent - from the room, to the spa facilities, etc., it is a very well-serviced hotel. The pool and thermal spa were ok although could do with a bit of a clean to remove rust, but it was ok to use. The spa treatments we booked were a different story: My husband and I emailed to request couples massage as it was our 1-year wedding anniversary. As I am pregnant, we were told we would have to choose different treatments and although normally for couples massages they have to have the same treatment, they said they could accommodate this for us as it was due to the pregnancy. When the time came for the treatment we realised they booked us for 2 different treatment rooms. I did not say anything at the time as I was looking forward to my treatment. My husband enjoyed his treatment and said the therapist was excellent, and had put focus on the problem areas they discussed. For the mum-to-be treatment however, I have to say I was very disappointed. The treatment itself was underwhelming to say the least. No focus was put on the problem areas discussed, and all the massage areas had almost 0 pressure. The back and foot massage were the most disappointing, and it felt like the lady was either new, or not keen on foot massages. The only time she put in effort was on the arms which was a shame the rest of the areas didn't get the same treatment. Stay 5/5, Spa Facilities 4/5, Spa treatment 3/5"
