“We love this historic hotel. It is always clean and tidy and the staff members are always so friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay to be close to the harbor and downtown Sitka.”

“If you are looking for “historical” this is your spot! Stairs are ridiculously steep. Carpet in rooms. No air. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. ”

“A great place to stay! The hotel combined two of the officer's quarters from Fort Seward to make a beautiful building. While the building is from the early 1900s, it is beautifully maintained. The owner is very helpful - he went so far as to dig out a socket wrench to help me with an errant piece of photo equipment. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The facility started by acknowledging that they charge a resort fee only to raise the cost up outside of Expedia. Then three days I did not even see housekeeping in the halls. I was told they haven’t been showing up. Maintenance came in made a mess in the bathroom for the guest to clean up and the breakfast was microwave breakfast sandwiches sold separately coffee was never available although there was a pot ”

“Extremely overpriced. Provided a room that was not what I ordered. The room I ordered had a balcony and only one bed ended up giving me a room with two beds with only two chairs. Parking in their parking lot was usually filled up by their own commercial fishing boats to which they blocked off most of the parking so you couldn't get in there. Price of the food was outrageous $35 for two very very small pieces of halibut no longer than 3 inches long by 1 in by 1 in. TV worked absolutely nothing...

“Having staued at this hotel multiple times of the year duri g various seasons, my wife and I have been always very satisfied with all the amenities in the room and in the facility itself. Cooking facilities are excellent to be able to sray in the room over a long term. Laundry facilities are excellent. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Location is excellent and within a few minutes if dining and shopping faclities.Views from upper floors are amazing.”

“This property is our go to location when visiting family in Juneau. The rooms are clean and conveniently located to Fred Meyer and Safeway and the airport. Just a short drive to downtown in one direction and to the Valley and Auke Bay in the other direction. We’ve never been concerned with safety and there is sufficient parking close to the entrance. ”
