“We arrived a bit before check in and our room was not ready. check in is at 3:00, we got dumped into a room that was not the room we paid for at 4:00. We were there for a wedding that started at 4:30. Only 1 person at the check in desk. Credit card machine crashed, they couldn’t make room keys so we were escorted to our room with no way to get back in, unless we could track down a manager. “The room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. We reported the issue to the front desk, but instead of sending housekeeping, we were surprisingly handed a broom and dustpan and asked to clean it ourselves. I've stayed at many hotels over the years, and this was the first time I've experienced something like that. It was quite disappointing and not what I would expect from any hotel. “rooms were decent size, balcony was a nice touch. bed pretty comfy. pool itself was nice, water temperature was good, area around pool was messy, food plates left on tables, tables dirty. on top of your room rate, breakfast was 22 bucks a person and 17 bucks a night to park your car. location was good, close to I25 and places to eat close by. seems like they nickel and dime you with the extras but maybe most places do that these days....”
