"Loved our stay! We stay in Hobart often and will definitely consider staying here again. It was so close to everything on Salamanca and we loved the amenities and welcome bottle of wine was special too. The Reception team are very warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend Salamanca Terraces for a longer term stay too. One night was definitely NOT enough !! Breakfast in the Lenna Dining Room was delicious too!"

"We had a sea view twin. Room was small. The hotel has a house rule of no toasters but does have a guest kitchen with toaster, microwave and sandwich maker. The room only has cups. So if you go to the guest kitchen and cook some toast or food you have to stand in the guest kitchen to eat. As the house kitchen rules are you can not remove any item from the kitchen (that would include the plates bowls etc). It would be far better and more convenient for guests to include a toaster and small plates and bowls. One other negative is the unsupervised children running all over the front lawn. As the hotel adjoins a pub. We stayed on a Wednesday night and the children were playing until 9pm so I’m guessing Friday and Saturday nights would be worse. They were playing directly in front of the unit and calling out to guests in the hotel. Which made it difficult to sit outside to quietly enjoy the sea view. The pub next door has a bistro. We didn’t eat there."

"Great room, and great staff. Housekeeping responded quickly when I requested something to my room. Only negative was that no complimentary bottled water included. There were 2 bottles of HARTZ water in the fridge which I assumed was complimentary with the room, however, I later found out they are part of the bar and costed $5 each. When I called for bottled water, the concierge said the water from the tap is drinkable, otherwise he could prepare some bottles for me to collect from the reception which I declined. Noting I did not know the "free" bottles were different to the ones in the fridge. Overall we had a great stay, and the minor misunderstanding with the water does not impact my likelyhood of staying here again. Thanks for having us!"

"The hotel is convenient. Location is good. Easy to get to the market. The room is decent but there was an unpleasant odour when I get into the room. The room is a bit pricey."
