“The property was clean but older and more run town than pictures showed. The sliding glass door to the deck attached to the room was broken. The lock was missing so they had a piece of wood to use to keep it locked. The coffee maker was missing from our room even though all the coffee items were provided. ”

“love the property for location and now that restaurant and lovely lobby and sitting areas it's quite nice (nicer!)”

“While checking in I had to wait 45 mins just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. The first room we were assigned to had German roaches in the room and we had to get moved to the other side of the hotel after being offered to get moved right next door where we literally saw a German roach. I was disappointed in this property.”

“My family has taken several trips to Calvert county, but this is the first we've stayed at this hotel. This was, by far, my favorite place to stay. The breakfast is awesome, and my kids loved the indoor pool. The room was nice. The plants in the lobby and pool room are gorgeous. The hotel is in a perfect central location. Every staff member I dealt with was super nice.”

“We booked a king size room and it was mossing 2 nightstands and a desk. You don’t realize how much you need them until you don’t have them. Also only had one chair to sit in. After a long drive - we just wanted to relax. The hotel itself was dated but clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.”

“Beautiful place to stay with a breathtaking view of the Chesapeake Bay from a hilltop. Has a speakeasy bar in the basement which takes you back to the 1920’s. Breakfast is very subperb!”
