I booked two private rooms and they tried to make me share a room with another guest. I refused because I paid more to have my own room. They do not provide wifi like is advertised and when I pressed the owner, he gave me one coupon for 100mb internet for two rooms (4 people). I told him it was advertised online as...

"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. Steenberg Hotel & Spa

Steenberg Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful property in a lovely location at the foot of the hills in Constantia . It is a large estate and the hotel is at the centre. We booked a room in the Manor House and woke up to views over the vineyards! We are breakfast both days looking over the vineyard. The staff are very well trained and are both friendly and professional. We had dinner the first night in the bistro which a shuttle bus transfers you to in the evening but it is walkable during the day. We walked up to it for an afternoon complimentary wine tasting session which was very good . We ate dinner the second evening in the formal dining restaurant and the food was excellent. We would stay at the property again ."
