"We have stayed here 2 years in a row for our elderly Mothers birthday vacation and we have been very pleased with our stay both times. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and so accommodating to our mother. We had to swap out a regular wheelchair for a beach chair daily and each time we left the hotel we had to drop off the wheelchair to the staff. They were more than helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The maids were very nice and helpful. We loved the beach, it was secluded and clean. We were able to take our mother out and enjoy it without feeling crowded. The state park across the road is a beautiful plus. We didn’t spend much time there but we drove through to look at it and we plan to spend more time there next year.
The only things we would like to see improve would be the beds. They could be a bit more comfortable and the refrigerator could be a bit bigger. And a small microwave in the room wouldve been nice for heating leftovers. These are not deal breakers for us. We plan to bring our mother back each year that god is willing!"
