“I was looking for an inexpensive bed to sleep in after dropping my child off at Pitt, and I found a great place for us to stay when we visit! The room is low frills but is clean and has everything you need. The motel - even though it seems to be in the middle of nowhere - is only 20-25 minutes from the university and Sheets is right down the road for a late-night snack. The friendly staff and free coffee in the morning are perfect bonuses! We definitely plan to stay here again!”

“Second stay at this hotel while in Pittsburgh. Up and coming neighborhood near a Whole Foods, Target and tons of cute neighborhood restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is lovely. I much prefer to stay here when visiting my child at the University of Pitt. Street parking or metered parking in a lot behind the building is abundant and I don't feel overwhelmed with garage parking or the Forbes Avenue traffic/congestion. “The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was so quiet there. The hiking trails were within easy walking distance. There weren’t many restaurants nearby, but we enjoyed those we tried. The coffee shop across the street was great and so convenient.”
