Close to multiple tourist attractions in Ballarat. Loved it. 5 stars except our air con spat some brown ice on us on the low setting. Overall loved it.”

“We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them. ”

“The rooms, whilst dated, are what you'd expect and are more than adequate. The location is excellent particularly for the central White Night event we attended. The staff were very helpful and we noted a sign saying they are understaffed which makes the effort even better. The bar at the top of the reception stairs, before you get to the breakfast hall, is intriguing and has a lot of character. Much more reasonably priced than nearby options. ”
