โBeautiful room with almost everything you could wish for. My only gripe was the only mirror in the room to do hair and makeup was in the hall/alcove between bathroom and bedroom. Needed a mirror over the dressing table. However I always travel with an extension lead so I survived. Really would recommend.โ

โFor us the location was very convenient. The room was clean and the location perfect for walking, with beautiful viewpoints very close by. It is off a busy main road but no noise issues.
The building and decor are a bit tired but did the job and all was all fine for our needs.โ
โStaff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning.โ
โUnable to check in and spent hours infront of property. Sent ID's to complete check in procedure only to be told no rooms available. Also address is not correct and you will be taken to an office and not an apartment. BE CAREFUL โ
โGreat experience staying at Chequers. The hotel is very well located, plenty of car park spaces in front of the hotel and staff was absolutely brilliant!โ

Outside of hotel needs some tlc but my room, although basic was clean and comfortable and fitted with my needs
