โWonderfully appointed apartment - nicely positioned too if you're looking for a place to stay while touring Kent's coastal towns. Owner was communicative and friendly. Would recommend.โ
โI booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....
โA beautiful country pub with amazing rooms super friendly and helpful staff. Amazing food in pub. Quiet rooms with their own balcony. Stunning setting. Would stay again โ
โWe stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We canโt recommend this place enough. โ
โSuper friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they donโt. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!โ
โJohn, the host, was very welcoming and gave us detailed information about Dover and recommended various places to eat. It was a perfect location, close to Dover Castle, the White Cliffs, and the city center. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.โ
โWell its owned and on the cathedral property. Wow I did not know that. It was a unique experience and close to the main streets. It was a great place to sleep next to the cathedral. It was cool to go to breakfast and see a priest or other parishioner getting ready to start a conference or some other worthy activity, not that that was the exclusive attendance of the hotel.โ
โVery friendly staff , Laura and Jim made us feel very welcome.
Room very clean and comfortable and has all you would need for a short break.
The area is really nice , itโs in a busy road but did not bother us . Very conveniently located to Margate main sands - will definitely staff again.โ
โWe had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend the hotel. The staff were attentive and friendly. Reception lady Laura was lovely and the perfect welcome.
The breakfast has great options and good quality. The restaurant and bar again have great options. Lovely views. Nice coastal walks in your doorstep and nearby hot spots. The room was decent, clean, and tidy.
We will be sure to come back again in the future. โ
