“The hotel was cute. Staff was friendly. Our room was ok, on the small size and we didn’t really open the curtains because it overlooked another building’s balcony. That made the room very dark. It was a weekend in a popular destination town but overall, I don’t feel it was worth the very high price.”

“Everything about the room and property was beautiful, the craftsmanship was so meticulous, and the property was very clean and well maintained. Easy entry, peaceful surroundings, and an amazing turn of the century atmosphere!”

“The woman at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly showing us the history of the hotel. The room was clean but there was a bit of a smell especially in the main areas and hallway. The gentleman who checked us in reprimanded us for not using Expedia and didn’t share much about the hotel or town which wasn’t a great welcome. Overall a great location and cool history, but could use a refresh and some new energy.”

“Check in was easy, although no elevator to the 2nd floor which.may sound petty but can be many trips back and forth to your car. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was low.. Coffee was good, breakfast ok, nothing spectacular.”

“I was very disappointed! We had 2 rooms reserved there were no hangers in either room and when I called the front desk to request hangers I had to go up to the desk to get them and was only given 3 hangers total. She said that was all she had! The first morning there we realized we had no spare TP roll so we actually had to call for another roll. The floors in the rooms had not been cleaned and were gritty to walk on. The hallways smelled nasty. The mattresses had definitely seen better days....

“Awful experience. We will never return to that hotel again. Somali manager was very rude and disrespectful to us when he could have easily spoken to us like a normal human being. Room looked clean also but stunk of something else that im unsure of so obviously not as clean as it should be and honestly we definitely overpaid for the hotel.”

“The entire place smelled like they tried to cover up years of wet dog odor by shampooing the carpets and then leaving them damp. They allow dogs, and trust me, you can tell the second you walk through the door. Honestly, I was ready to cut my losses and find a different hotel altogether, but my girlfriend was exhausted and just wanted to be done with it, so we stayed. Needless to say, I won't be staying there again. The only way I'd ever consider coming back is if it was some kind of absolute...
