"The Ramada hotel is well located with a beautiful sea view. The hotel is aging and needs to be renovated but the overall quality over price is good. Staff was welcoming and professional. "

"Every review is pretty spot on. I was first greeted by the amazing Andean and her friendly staff. Free parking and secured. Huge clean room with balcony facing the ocean. AC was working. I ate twice at Midtown (the stew chicken is so yummy!) and had a breakfast at Ochuna downstairs. Both very good. I walked the first night to the museum and I felt safe. Yes there’s only one chair but I was solo so it didn’t bother me. There was some noise in the park and next door but it was on Saturday but with the patio door closed, it was fine and the noise tapered down after 22:00. Water was not super hot but it’s typical. For the price, I would recommend this to anyone and I’ll be back again before leaving Belize. "

"Unfriendly staff, room charges not permitted for restaurants or lobby purchases. Arrived at 3pm for check in, did not have a room till 5:30pm. Had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast next morning at the café: waited more than an hour and a half for food on all three occasions. For dinner: ordered one cheese pizza, took almost 2 hours and showed up raw in the middle. They brought it back 40min later, still raw in the middle having just been broiled on top. Two towels provided in room for 2 adults, 2 kids, and no towels available at pool area for swimming. Be careful, they have a house next door that they either claim you you booked instead of your standard room, or try to convince you to move to as an “upgrade” (our party had two rooms and experience both scenarios). Don’t be fooled, this is not on the property and not available through Expedia. It seems to be a side hustle. We were treated as an unwelcome nuisance throughout our two day, one night stay. Not impressed at all"

"Our 12 year old son loved the pool as we watched parakeets and grackles from the deck chairs, and Martha’s restaurant across the street has fantastic food with a deck looking out over the river/ocean and diving pelicans. Many more eating places and the Belize Museum are a short walk, a few minutes and safe in evening. Facilities are clean and quiet "

"Amazing… if you are considering this place and questioning it, do it !! The food was absolutely amazing ( and I’m a picky eater ) the location absolutely amazing , it was so easy to get from the airport to here .. I was also hesitant on having lunch and dinner with everyone and it turned out to be so nice, I really enjoyed it ! "

"Greeting when we arrived was fantastic. Room was clean, and food was good. When we booked this place it was because of the pool bar, however, what isn’t said is that the bar is only open Friday-Sunday. This should clearly be stated as we were there Sunday- Wednesday so only got it for one day. "

"The property is currently under construction, so early morning are filled the noise of the adjacent extension being added to the hotel. The highlight is the rooftop restaurant with amazing staff , delicious food and great views of Belize City!"
