“Extremely disappointed. Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. “This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return .”

“The tv had no channels on it and wouldn’t connect to the internet so was useless. The guest next door we’re playing loud music way past 11 pm out on the balcony.”

“This is not a proper hotel - it is a hotel-like business that rents out apartments in Cambridge's post-doc city. These are located in a big block which seem to contain also private apartments, and does not have a dedicated reception. There is a reception desk, which hands keys out on behalf of the hotel but is otherwise not affiliated with Hope. When arrived, the check-in desk was unoccupied and since there was no visible sign of Hope Hotel at the building, I walked around for 15 minutes before...
