Loved my ocean view room. It was clean and serviced everyday. Breakfast every morning was delicious. It’s not all inclusive so you have to pay for food and drinks. The added bonus to the resort prickley pear island has the most beautiful views of the ocean. I visited during slow season so it wasn’t very busy. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport.

We felt so welcome from the beginning and Jean-Marie is a host that every hotel should have. We came to celebrate anniversary and the staff took care of us like we was family. The property is so amazing and you won’t find a better place to enjoy and relax in Antigua.

The entire staff are so accommodating and professional. The hospitality was through the roof! The food was awesome and delicious. The veggie roti, the fish tacos, the red velvet cheese cake was a highlight at the drift bar and white sands.

Great resort for our older family. Very quiet, but with everything you need. Pool areas were great, but having access to Prickly Pear island really made this place standout. We did some off resort adventures, but our best days were on Prickly Pear and hanging by the pool. We had a 4 bedroom unit and it was perfect. Would stay here again if coming to Antigua.

The ocean front suite was extremely clean and spacious. The bathrooms were very modern. The gym was very well outfitted and both pools were beautiful. The access to Prickly Pear island was a very nice feature of the property.

Every member on staff was so welcoming, friendly and receptive to questions from the daytime and night time front desk staff, the restaurant, housekeeping and even grounds workers were friendly they greeted you with a smile, a good morning or good afternoon. The front desk staff was so informative. We felt so at home. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and they did an amazing Job decorating the room, also brought her a sweet treat to celebrate. I was able to store the birthday cake I ordered locally in their staff fridge which I appreciated immensely. I can honestly say I would recommend the Hotel as it is clean, beautifully decorated. The only thing is it wasn’t centrally located to the town and many activities. It is 10 minutes from the airport. To get to any place you will need taxi or hire a driver. The cost of eating at the hotel is a bit on the higher price USD pricing, not EC. I was a bit disappointed with the variety of food choices. It is American / European based food choices. I expected we would have local fruits and some Caribbean meal choices. Overall we had a great stay, we would go again.

Just there for 1 day, but the time spent was amazing. The private island, Prickly Pear, wasnt in the description anywhere, but was one of the highlights of the 24 hour stay. Food and drinks were great. Ocean View room was ocean front and we could enjoy the sound of the waves at night. Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying at Hodges Bay, and once again, the level of customer service has exceeded our expectations. They graciously offered flexibility with both early check-in and a late checkout to accommodate our evening flight, which made a big difference. Everyone on the team is warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel—if you’re looking for a boutique, exclusive experience, this is the place. We fully intend to return again next year!

The oceanfront room had a large balcony with a beautiful view. The rooms were generally clean, however, some items needed to be repaired. Overall the staff was accommodating and friendly. Sometimes they needed to be reminded of requests made during the stay. The spa was wonderful.

Nice beach and private island. Bathrooms and some common areas in need of renovation - it took several minutes to get hot water in the shower. The main restaurant serves nice food, Shirlene is an amazing waitress!
