โAn older style hotel, which I prefer. Quite well maintained, and the price is reasonable, so dont expect super modern luxury. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good, pay a small supplement for the full English. A repeat stay for me.โ
โOur room (number 4) was bright and airy, dual aspect and extremely spacious. Beautifully decorated with quality art deco style accessories. A huge comfortable bed and immaculate shower room en-suite. An unexpected surprise was a small fridge containing bottled water, juice, porridge pots and cereal bars - all of which were replaced each day.Our only disappointment was that the Bath Tap and Chowder Co. was closed for the duration of our stay.โ
โCheck-in was easy and our room was spacious and well maintained. Itโs a great example of Art Deco and worth a stay just to enjoy the design features of a past era.โ
โMy wife and I had a one night stay here which was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The views of the promenade and sea were wonderful.
As mentioned in many reviews, the breakfast was amazing as were the staff.

โVery eastern Eurpeen feel to flatt 1 witch ware i stayed for 3 nights. I did notice flat one needs work bit never complained anx for reson is because it convient and someware pit head down and it funtional witch all was bothered abt, i cooked allot and cleaned around at back of myself. Keept it tidy but left cottage pie in fridge in flatt 1. I leave that for anyone who want it in flatt 1, use by day 23rd aug 2025. โAfter going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8โx8โ?
