Although the property is showing its age the welcome you get and the location more than makes up for it. The bed is comfy and there is always plenty of towels. Price is excellent and close to restaurant and not far to the beach.

The Cottages were clean a little dated but nothing wrong with some retro the kitchen had the basics you would need but definitely required some more items than I had brought with me cutting boards sharp knives cheese graders things like that

Had a wonderful stay in a 2 bedroom, pet friendly cottage at Joyce's Cottages! Great value for the price, super clean, and a very friendly host. The cottages are classic and cozy, exactly as pictured on their site, and for the affordable price point, you really can't beat it. The pool was great for cooling off, and we loved having the community fire pit in the evening. Plus, it’s only minutes from St. Peter’s for basic amenities and super close to the historic St. Peter’s Canal and Battery Park. Would definitely recommend for a clean, budget friendly stay!

The room wasn’t the cleanest - there was popcorn and cheesies under our bedroom table. The floor throughout was dirty. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. The community has a great selection when it comes to dining out and fast-food places. The lakes and ocean views are breathtaking.

The motel was clean enough. The problem was the upkeep hadn't been done to the motel. I had a kitchen at unit and the fridge and stove unit were probably from the 1950s. I also believe the beds are very old.

Nice area. Pet friendly, which is great. The cottages are spacious but dated. Some of the cottages and similiar to a duplex, with another guest staying on the other side of the wall. Ours was like this and our neighbors were a bit noisy until 11-1130pm. We stayed here in October so cannot comment on the pool.

We stayed for two nights with our two dogs. Quiet spot with nice view of the lake. Close to all amenities. Room was clean and kitchen well supplied (except food which we brought ;) )
