We enjoy staying at this hotel when over for appointments. The pros: front desk staff are super friendly, the restaurant is good, and rooms are clean. The cons: a few maintenance things this time around (strobing bulb in lamp, bathroom door that wouldn’t close or lock, an outlet that wouldn’t work). Parking spots are very tight (we saw one car make six attempts at parking). Will stay again, as it’s usually fairly good value for a Halifax hotel.

The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, we asked at the desk if they could give us different pillows and the girl working acted like we were asking her for something out of the ordinary. She called our room later to tell us that there were no other pillows in the hotel she could give us. The bed was also very uncomfortable.
