“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“Sehr tolles kleines Haus. Würde es jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Hatten zwar kleine Mängel, habe diese aber dem Besitzer direkt mitgeteilt. Es zu finden, war nicht so einfach, man muss schon etwas weiter fahren als das Restaurant und dann kommen links lauter Schilder und da fährt man dann nach oben. Tolle Aussicht mit einer beruhigenden Stille. Kauft davor gut ein, da vor Ort keine Geschäfte sind. Kaffeeaufbereiter, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach , Toaster und co. alles was man benötigt ...

“Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree.
