“The room was lovely and welcoming, very comfortable and was more than we were expecting. The breakfast the next morning was brilliant, great produce and great selection to try! The spa was fab, definitely worth adding onto your stay. So many fun relaxing experiences to try and the staff are all lovely and welcoming. Felt like a truly lovely experience compared to other spa visits. It was such a vibe! Would highly recommend. ”

“A wonderful stay, friendly staff, comfortable clean room with very large bed. Amazing breakfasts and evening food. Safe parking and lovely location. Only minor issue was it was advertised on Expedia as separate shower and bath when in fact it was shower over bath. Thank you for looking after us.”

“Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“Beautiful location in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff. The room was spacious with good quality linen & toiletries, albeit the bathroom needed a little TLC. Loved the sound of the owls at night & the fox’s calling. It was a very welcoming atmosphere & Johnnie is a character! ”
