"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. Hanging them on the (turned off) towel dryer in the bathroom made the clothes not dry at all in 2 days as the bathroom was always very, very humid. "We were allocated Room 308. I kid you not - our room came with its own bridge, leading to a separate and private seating area, with a view out over the river. The room was clean, well proportioned and bed comfortable. It had two small armchairs with coffee table between. The bathroom was a decent size so it was a disappointment that the quarter circle shower in the corner was so small. Staff were polite and professional. Breakfast was plentiful - omelettes looked delicious but we were too full from the night before to try them. Location was perfect for exploring the Old Old Town and Old New Town, plus a stroll along the river and over the bridge. Difficult to fault a hotel room that comes with a private bridge. Ask for Room 308. Enjoy."
