"The key to the front door took six or seven times to work. We had a hard time getting in the door every time we went back to the room. I told the front desk about it and they said they're going to be replacing the security system in the near future. "

"The property is undergoing renovations which will be very nice. Our room was a renovated room but was not cleaned or restocked (empty showers products and no linens for the pull out bed) the way we have experienced during previous stays. The previous guests left clothes in the drawers that were not cleaned out. While we still had a great time at the water park many of the lounge chairs were removed and or broken. The water stations were also not refilled."

"This is a somewhat tired, but clean and pleasant, facility whose staff go the extra mile to accommodate. The kitchen 'things' are a la carte. You tell the staff if you want dishes etc...all carefully explained on a card. We wanted something to heat water for tea that didn't reek of coffee and they complied. We asked for a toaster...and it was immediately available. We needed a second chair, which was not quickly available, and a staff member brought a folding chair from his own home...so we ended up with 3 chairs and the couch...perfect for our needs. Some things needed improvement...a document could not be printed until the next day, for example. The room seemed pricey...but it was Scottsdale in March, during spring training. Location and supply and demand. And for us, for personal reasons, this location was perfect...in every way. I take exception to those who complain about the breakfast: 1) they clearly state it's grab and go, like many properties we've been to....and 2) you have your own kitchen for heaven's sake. Would we stay there again? We're in Scottsdale twice a year for about a week. I would have no problems staying there again. "

"The different pools on the property were great b/c this avoided crowds. This is definitely a property that takes in sports traveling families/large families. We went the week of spring break. The hotel staff were polite. The property is large to walk around. The pool side food and beverages were pricey and even though we ordered through the QR code system we only got our drinks and didn't get our food so I had to ask for a manager to get reimbursed. Our reservations included breakfast and it was buffet or menu. The breakfast is good and assorted for a one to two night stayer. However, they do not change the menu other than the item of"waffle/pancakes/french toast". The replenishing and omelete station were very slow. The waiters and waitresses however were gracious and attentive. The last thing to share is the room, it is a standard room, the maintenance of the balcony does not look like its consistently power washed, the housekeeping was dissatifactory. The room we received was not clean b/c there were pieces of candy on the edges of the wall in the front lounge area. Whoever "refreshed" the first day, all the kuddos to this person b/c they did more than the bid minimum. The other days not so much. Would I return, only for the convenience of the family atmosphere and the different pool options. "

"Property was beautiful, rooms were nice. My complaints are that our bathroom didn't have a fan, the water pressure in the bathroom sink faucet was very poor and the property’s WiFi is terrible. I had to keep my WiFi off the entire stay (4 nights 5 days) We stayed over March Break so it was extremely busy, the pools were very murky. Not sure if they’re always like that. I did love how the property had filtered water stations all over. We love Scottsdale and would try a different hotel next time we visit. "

"Pros: Friendly and attentive staff, Clean and well-maintained rooms, Comfortable beds, nice TV's, excellent breakfast options (get in line early for a chef-made omelette!), Small work table for productivity. Cons: Small/Tight parking spaces, Noisy (though cool) air conditioners, constant shortage of towels by the pool, weak toilets. Overall, we had a comfortable stay, although the price was a little steep. 4/5"
