Check before you book

The hotel’s outdoor pool was closed for refurbishment during our stay in May 2022. The shortage of some materials was an issue according to the hotel. If you stay there for its restaurant check if it is open. Sometimes there is a private function. hotels.com’s UK travel support team helped me when I had trouble during the trip. Many thanks to the team members.

Un fine settimana isolati dalla frenesia abituale

È un posto praticamente “fuori dal mondo stressante abituale” Praticamente per due giorni isolati da internet, telefonino, ecc. Per avere la linea occorre andare all’ingresso oppure quando, percorsi i 5 Km circa dalla costa, si raggiunge Marina di Strongoli oppure la più bella e viva Torre Melissa. Ottimo ed accurato servizio, colazione accurata, ben servita e con ampia scelta. Il ristorante “gourmet” merita la stella Michelin e quindi è da provare per una cena. Non è il ristorante per tutti i giorni.

Oke.

Dattillo is een agriturismo op een geweldige locatie. Grote kamers en schoon. Helaas was er ook achterstallig onderhoud en waren er kamerfaciliteiten niet, die er volgens het lijstje wel hadden moeten zijn. De foto's van de kamers beloofden meer dan de werkelijkheid. Prachtig zwembad maar ook hier niet alles helemaal top (hondendrollen in het gras, glasscherven als gevolg van een trouwfeestje) Ontvangst vonden we ook niet heel gastvrij, dat had echt wat uitgebreider gekund. De dame die de dagen erna de receptie bemande was overigens heel vriendelijk en voorkomend. Al met al: verblijven in Dattillo is niet goedkoop, dan verwacht je dat alles top is en dat was het niet: het was oke.
De woonkamer, we vonden het een beetje leeg
