"Es war auch nicht genug Besteck/Teller/Tassen für alle da. Kaum sachen zum Kochen oder sauber machen. Dabei wäre gerade ein anständiger wischmopp da echt nötig gewesen. Unser Haus war leider auch bei bezug nicht sauber und das Bad schon richtig verkalkt/verschimmelt. Würde wir auf keinen fall nochmal hin fahren. "A fantastic family break for a week! The facilities are superb and accommodate for all ages: cycling, swimming, water slides, gym, treetop/go-ape adventure, beach, restaurants, gaming zone, arcade games. Plus local to the old town so a great area to walk, run and explore. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are well thought out with a breakout door for children and 2 tv’s. The rooms were kept clean by the service staff 2-3 times a day which was great. The only improvement point to not was it’s a new resort, so some of the processes were changing and staff were giving different versions of what was allowed and what not - example around all-inclusive and whether we could swap buffet lunch for lunch at one of the restaurants. Also pool bar charges for water, drinks and ice cream, though in doors in the family bar it was free. So some disconnects there that need to be aligned. Overall really enjoyed the stay and in a great location."

"The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. We did notice that on our more casual days we received slightly different treatment from the staff in the dining room at breakfast, however the breakfast choices are incredible, the spa was exceptional, the staff I encountered and made requests or queries to were more than happy to help. The hotel is situated by the marina and is a short walk from the town and from gorgeous restaurants and bars. While we did not eat main meals at Grand Park hotel our stay still made us feel very pampered and relaxed overall and the hotel design is so so beautiful. They've done a phenomenal job with it overall. Also loved the pre check in form they send and the option to check out online. Everything is so considered to give you the most convenient experience and it is noticeable from the moment you arrive. "

"The staff was completely uncaring and unhelpful. There was no ventilation in our room. None at all. When I asked at the front desk I was told someone would take a look at it. When I asked again an hour later they said they called to have it inspected. When we got back from. dinner no one had been there. When I checked again with the front desk (in person since the phone did not work) I was told it was inspected and nothing was wrong. I was told that all of the rooms were the same temperature and it was suggested i sleep with the windows open. There was an obvious error code on the thermostat and all of the other rooms had their patio doors closed so I assumed their climate was working. So I was lied to twice by the front desk. And they were very smug and rude about everything. Even at check in. We have been all over the world in many hotels and have never been treated so poorly. Yes. The pool and location is great but does not even begin to compensate for the staff behavior at the price. This was our sixth visit to Portoroz and I will never stay at this hotel again. There are much better choices."
