Hggeligt hotel

Vi boede både på et almindeligt værelse og på et superiorværelse. Det almindelige var hyggeligt, men meget lille og noget ucomfortabelt. Superiorværelset var fint. Personalet var meget venligt og imødekommende. Morgenmaden var god. Absolut det bedste sted at bo i Stykkisholmur.

This is one of my favourite places in the world -- have come back twice now. It embodies the concept of "hygge" -- cosy, warm, inviting, comfortable, friendly. Rooms are super comfy, well designed. Good breakfast and well positioned for exploration of Snaefellsness.

Eine spontane Auswahl, die sich sehr gelohnt hat. Ein nettes kleines Hotel in einem historischen Haus. Entsprechend klein waren die Zimmer, für 1 Person durchaus ausreichend, aber wir schaffen das zwei Personen? Die Einrichtung war zweckmäßig, frisch und angenehm. Der Aufenthaltsraum akzeptabel, da ja nicht viele Gäste im Haus sein können. Das Servicepersonal ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit, kompetent und immer zu erreichen. Kein Restaurant im Hotel aber in der Nähe zwei gute, wobei ich mit meiner Auswahl sehr zufrieden war. Das Frühstück war individuell angerichtet, ganz liebevoll, schön fürs Auge, frische Produkte. Ungewöhnlich aber toll. Ich würde dieses Hotel immer wieder besuchen, öwenn das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ein besseres wäre. Trotz Vorsaison war es das teuerste Hotel auf meiner Reise. Ich denke wegen der Mini Zimmer (Ein Bett eine Kofferablage ein Tässchen, keine Sitzgelegenheit -nur der Vollständigkeit halber- kein TV)ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht akzeptabel.

Charming little family run Hotel located in the cutest fishing village I’ve seen in Iceland. Very clean, comfortable and renovated with great taste. Highly recommended!
