“Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain.”

“When I called re a florist in the area for fresh bouquet, the manager said he'd be happy to get their Gardener to cut flowers and make a bouquet for me. Wow, that was so nice! When it was brought to our room the girl would not take any payment. The flowers were lovely and went on my mother's grave. I really appreciate how they went out of their way for me. “The staff and amenities were great! Breakfast was hot and well stocked! We enjoy the pool alone twice on our trip. Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. We also did not use the WiFi due to having to make an account but that was our choice.”
