"We loved our stay at the Otter Hotel in Banff. Beyond being in such a magical location, the hotel itself was wonderful and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Having on-site parking was a big plus. The restaurant is absolutely to die for — do yourself a favor and have both breakfast and dinner there at least once, the food is delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a nice little kitchen area and balcony. I wouldn’t call it luxury, but it has everything you need. The showers are great, and I have to give a special mention to the amazing soap (you can even buy it at a shop in Banff if you fall in love with it like I did). Amenities like the sauna and jacuzzi were a highlight, especially with the beautiful views. They can get crowded at times, which is understandable in such a touristy spot during high season, so just be prepared. The only small thing I noticed was a few used towels and cups left around — a bit more attention to tidying up would make it even better — but it didn’t take away from my experience at all. A big shout-out to Fredy, who went out of his way to accommodate us and share great recommendations around the area. The hotel also provides bus passes and bike rental coupons, which were really handy. Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely stay here again"

"Easy access off the Trans-Canada Highway. Drove to activities but a nice pool and hot tub on site and as the name indicates, a water slide. Good location from where to explore Banff, Lake Louise, Kananaskis, etc. "

"Unique experience staying on the mountain , loved the hot tub and the variety of restaurants. The hiking on top of the chair lift was awesome "

"The hotel was good. It was fairly clean and cleaning staff were very friendly. I just wished they had a better parking setup. I stayed here for my wedding, and the parking is first come first serve. It was very hard to move all my wedding gear in my wedding dress when all the spots infront of the room were taken so we had to park far. Aside from that we had an excellent stay, and otherwise from wedding the parking lot wouldnt be a major issue! Also, if you get a room on the main floor, expect lots of people to walk by and look into your room lol. It's not very private. We must have gotten a recently renovated room. I was expecting carpet and we got nice new flooring that i was very happy with! Excellent stay especially for how much more affordabke it is than the other options! "

"Convenient modern hotel. Got dropped off at the door by the Banff Airport shuttle late in evening, Hotel is within walking distance of many amenities in the area. "
