"Wonderful Stay with Beautiful Alpine Views
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was extremely tidy and well-maintained, which made the whole experience comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom, combined with the WC, was modern, clean, and very convenient.
The hotel also offers car parking, which was very helpful and made the stay even more convenient. The host was friendly and spoke good English, making communication easy and welcoming.

"We loved this hotel! I definitely will be staying here again on my next trip to Switzerland. We rented an EV car and you’re able to charge it during your stay. Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Engel in Emmetten, the staff went above and beyond—helping with laundry, offering brilliant touring tips, and solving our transportation challenges. "This is basically a large cooperative house. The rooms are small. There are shared bathrooms on each floor, and a large shared living room and kitchen on the first floor. The house provides kitchen basics and you can cook if you like. I stayed in a single. The bed was comfortable. I think overall a good deal for the price."
