"Very bad experience staying that hotel, i usually stay some holiday inn hotels which i was expecting same standard but unfortunately this hotel was my worst experience i had thise hotels, i also reported by members of that hotel, that i had in my hotel bed a bed bugs but the didn't took me serious and did nothing about it. Pleased avoid to booj ever in the future this Hotel. Yassin Mahamoud"

The Aston Inn

"The staff are nice and friendly but the facilities is very very basic. It is truly just a place to sleep. There was cobweb in our room. The bed frame had water damage ( we hope it's water). The breakfast was fresh. It is situated not far from Aston villa stadium so worth it for a bed for the night. There is absolutely no luxury to this space."

"Bed Bugs We were supposed to stay for a week at the lodge but we had to cut our stay short on the very first night because of a bed bug crawling on the pillow. There was no emergency/out of hours number to contact on the night so we had to find last minute accommodation. In the morning, I spoke to the manager. I informed them of the bed bug currently held under a glass in our room. I asked if they wanted to see it but they did not want to. I was told it may not be a bed bug and that they need to get pest control in to verify. I have taken the attached video and photos so we may not forget what was on scene. I asked for a refund for our stay or for some compensation but they would not do so. They also said that even if it was a bed bug there needs to be an infestation of hundreds before they consider offering a refund. They did not apologise and there seemed to be no remorse in their tone or words. In fact their reaction seemed scripted like they have had this problem before. They simply told me no refunds and they'll get pest control in that day or soon after. This was on Thursday morning. I am writing this review on Monday, 4 days after the event. They told me they would email me with updates: they have not. Either they are keeping the bed bug alive until pest control arrive, or I dread to think they have disposed of the bed bug before pest control arrive. I am still open to a refund if they choose to contact me. I have more to say but I've reached the character limit"

Drayton Manor Hotel

"This is our third stay at the hotel, and we always find it enjoyable and great value. Our only criticism this time would be that they were quite slow to replenish the breakfast buffet, despite us having breakfast during one of the earlier, quieter slots. All staff were friendly and helpful and clearly working hard, but our experience at the Drayton Manor theme park later that day led us to suspect there may be a resort wide issue with staffing levels, which is a shame because that was the only thing that prevented our stay being rated five stars."
