"Great Hotel Almost a 5 Star! Very helpful Staff Not hard to drive to. You have the sunshine on the teracce until 2 Pm For sunset you have to walk 5 minutes on the other side of the island Oh I forgot the great Breakfast"

"Brilliant location near the coastline and everything in walking distance in Ortigia. Staff were lovely and room with the hot tub had an amazing view, room itself was beautiful. Beautiful hotel building as well. "

"When we arrived we were told that our room would be ready within an hour which we were very happy about. Upon our return however, the room wasn't ready, and we were offered another room which we accepted. This room hadn't been cleaned so we were then offered another room which was being cleaned but nearly finished. The cleaner didn't seem to appreciate that we had been brought in but wasn't there for long. The toilet also wasn't working, and so a repair man came in to sort it, again whilst we were waiting. If we knew this we would have just waited as the room we booked was alot nicer and bigger. We were only there for 1 night so we didn't really want to make a fuss but we did feel like we had been given an inferior room to the one we requested. The room was clean, but the furnishings obviously don't get maintained very often as they were very dusty and old. The location was great as it wasn't far to walk to all the major sites/station, and the person on the reception desk was pleasant even if the room we were given didn't meet expectations. The breakfast in the morning was fine just quite basic, but generally standard like many hotels across Europe. We were offered to have a taxi booked for us however and the driver then charged us 20 Euros for a 5 minute journey. He claimed he had no change. Usually booking taxis through the hotel is quite reliable but in this case it wasn't. We were allowed to leave our bags in reception however which helped us."

"Great location, easy walk to all the sights in Siracusa and Ortigia. Spacious room with a Balcony overlooking the main street. Reception and Breakfast staff helpful and friendly."

"We rented two rooms. The staff were wonderful and very helpful! The location was excellent with great views of the sea and convenient walking distance to cafes and restaurants. We would have really liked to have a coffee maker in the room. We were not interested in the full breakfast, but would have liked to have coffee in our rooms without getting fully dressed, leaving the building and visiting the hotel's other building across the street just to have a cup of coffee. Also, the showers are really awkward to get in and out of because of the accordion glass doors. In one of our rooms, the drain must have been clogged, because the water filled up in the bottom of the shower and almost overflowed before the user was finished using the shower."

"The Photorooms is an amazing accommodation! It’s very well situated—an easy walk to the main tourist hotspots, yet very quiet as it’s tucked into a residential area. There are many great restaurants nearby, and it’s also very close to the train station. The place is extremely clean and comfortable. Giovanni, the owner, is very considerate as well. He is very proactive and communicates readily. I really enjoyed Siracusa and Giovanni’s place. I’m looking forward to coming back to Siracusa, and when I do, I will definitely stay here again!"
