Comfortable accommodation and wonderful service

Franco was very helpful and kind. He took care of our request immediately. Isabella also very kind and helpful. We brought some food from the outside and ate at the breakfast area. Isabella immediately provided dishes and silverware for us. Not only that she also offered to warm up the soup. Bravo to the service attitude of Franco and Isabella!

Very friendly hotel. Well located

The hotel is really well located for Noto and Syracuse. The car parking is great. The public spaces are big. We were given a large room with a balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds were well maintained. Lots of coffee at breakfast!

Amazing Stay

The Hotel and service was excellent, Free parking. The reception team were really helpful in letting me know the places I could park when visiting the sites in Siracusa and the best beaches in the area and arranging an early breakfast on our last morning. The breakfast was very good continental selection and fresh coffee and pastries. Antonio arranged for me to borrow vacuum for the hire car after a beach trip. The room was large with aircon, very comfy beds, clean and direct access to the pool area and a private patio. Pool was amazing with plenty of loungers and large parasols. We had a fastatic stay and I would recommend and our thanks to all staff.

We chose this hotel as it was a bit outside of the main centers of Syracuse and Ortigia. However, we were disappointed that they did not allow us to check in early, even though it was only about an hour to check-in time. They held our luggage for us but then when we left to get lunch to pass time so we could come back and check in, they forgot they had our luggage and were trying to show us straight to our room. The balcony, at least on the first floor, I wish we had not paid for, as it was not private and went straight to the pool area. Bathroom and room were just okay, nothing special. I would recommend maybe trying another accommodation to stay in.

The hotel that almost ruined our vacation…

We were traveling around Sicily, and in our end step we wanted a place to relax. We only choose this hotel because of the pool. When we arrived we were shown our room. After being a few minutes in the room, we noticed a high pitching noise, sounded like something electronic. Before going to the reception we wanted to check out the pool and fitness area. The pool was closed? And the fitness area was a joke. We went to the reception and asked about the pool. Apparently it was out of season, the will first open the pool in may. We had booked from. 26/3 to 2/4.. we said that it was the only reason for us choosing this hotel, the weather was perfect for swimming and sunbathing. they didn’t care. We asked about the noise in the room, a guy came with us and checked, pulled out the plug from the minibar and smiled and said fixed - but the noise was still there. He said it came from air ventilation, and couldn’t be turned off, and they wouldn’t do anything about it. The hotel is located out of nowhere, luckily we had a car, but if we hadn’t had we would have been stuck in a hotel with nothing to do, and a progressing tinnitus. We tried to see if we could live with it, because we had already payed for 7 nights, and they give no refunds. 2 nights was more than enough, when we checked out we didn’t want to pay city tax because we had paid enough already, but they didn’t understand English, threatend us in Italian and said they’d call the police on us. We payed and left.

Très belle piscine mais ne vaut pas 4 étoiles

Malgré sa situation proche de Syracuse, le très bon accueil et la magnifique piscine très bien entretenue, cet hôtel ne vaut pas un 4 étoiles. Chambre correcte mais sombre et peu spacieuse, salle de bains très simple avec cabine de douche étroite. Pas de cafetière, juste une bouilloire. Heureusement nous avons pris une supérieure avec terrasse, qui nous a permis d'avoir plus d'espace et de lumière. Bon petit déjeuner. La dame qui s'en occupe fait ce qu'elle peut avec les moyens qu'elle a et une personne pour la seconder serait utile !

Extérieurement superbe hotel, piscine extraordinaire, personnel très gentil et efficace très belle chambre avec balcon, grand parking, douche au debit très faible, eau chaude très difficile à obtenir, qualité du petit-déjeuner indigne d'un 4 etoiles : qualité du pain mediocre, jambon et fromage bas de gamme et insipide, croissants abominables, jus industriel, qualité du café irréprochable sans les problèmes d'eau et les petits-déjeuners très bas de gamme l´hôtel aurait mérité une cote de 10...

Bon séjour à l’hôtel Albatros. Les chambres sont propres et fonctionnelles, le petit déjeuner est complet. Il n’y a pas de restaurant dans l’hôtel mais Syracuse est à 10min en voiture (restaurants et supermarchés). Je recommande !

Et dejligt sted med super sødt personale på trods af sprogbarrierer til tider. Meget trafikeret vej og derfor ikke mulighed for at gå til resturent - OBS på at man skal have bil i dette område. Der lille to fine pizza steder i kort afstand og en lidt mere eksklusiv resturent. Men alt andet skal du ind til byen - lidt bøvlet om aftnerne på grund af meget trafik . Pool trænger til en kærlig hånd den er meget slidt . Begrænset morgenmads udvalg og bar og snack er også meget begrænset. Værelserne er pæne og rene og der er ekstra puder og tæpper i skabet der er mulighed for nye håndklæder hver dag Alt i alt et godt ophold men vil nok ikke bo her 7 overnatninger igen.

Comodo hotel apenas afuera de ortigia

El hotel esta un poquito fuera de Ortigia, comodisimo. Parqueo, piscina, habitaciones comodas y con un patio con mesita y sillas y da a la piscina. Desayuno variado y bueno. Muy recomendado quien no quiere entrar al centro traficado de ortigia
