“Leider wsr mein Zimmer sehr klein. Das Fenster konnte man nicht schließen, Es blieb eine 10 cm Lücke offen. Der Zigarettenrauch von den Balkonen kam so ins Zimmer. Außerdem war es sehr laut. Schlaf nur mit Gehörschutz möglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ganz OK. Der Preis war auch günstig. Vielleicht hatte ich nur ein schlechtes Zimmer bekommen.”

“Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...

“The hotel in Tenerife was great. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was top-notch, with really good quality. The only downside was that you could hear a club nearby at night, and sometimes there were fights or disturbances right outside the hotel around 4 a.m. Also, smoking was allowed on the balconies, which meant that if you slept with the window open, the smoke often came into the room. Still, it was a lovely stay, as long as you keep those points in mind.”

“Everything about the hotel speaks class and luxury, the view is breathtaking, the staff were helpful, we were given a glass of juice as we checked in. The breakfast is far better than anywhere I’ve stayed, the room was well maintained and I’d definitely be staying at Atlantis mirage next time I visit Tenerife. If you have a lot of activities planned within Tenerife I’d advise you to leave a day out to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.”

“I stayed from August 26 to August 30. It was peak season, but it was relatively cheap, so I didn‘t have high expectations, but it was a single room with a bathroom and toilet that I could use alone, and the owner was very kind. I asked if there was a coffee pot because I needed to drink hot water, and they brought it to my room so I could use it. “To start the trip, the staff at the front desk was lovely which made our initial impression positive. As we entered the villa there were ants on the counter tops and in the bathroom. As our stay progressed, the ant infestation got progressively worse. We finally decided to speak to the receptionists, where they told us it was our fault for not coming earlier to report the problem. A man entered our room without us knowing to clean out the ants. They did not give us any compensation for this....

“The property is in the ideal location with everything you could possibly want in a hotel. Gym, pool, hydrotherapy, spa, bar, restaurant. Absolutely wonderful stay. I will stay here when I come back. ”
