"Overall property condition is pretty new and very clean, bathroom is a bit small but setup very creatively to maximize space utilization. Location is close to tram tracks, so can be a bit noisy. Room has a washer only, no dryer, limited hangers to dry clothes maybe provide a foldable drying rack so that guests can put it out on the balcony in the summer or in the room as the room is pretty spacious (we have kids so we have more clothes to wash) "

"Aesthetically absolutely beautifully designed interior, however not so functional. We stayed over the new year so it was cold/dry weather so we wish they had humidifiers.
The beds are extremely comfortable unlike the beds at the major hotels so we were able to get rest well to recover from 13 hours flight.
Unfortunately unlike other guests, we didn't get response from the owner quickly. We got a response 3 days after we checked out which was not a big deal anyway. "

"Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is spacious. Parking lot right next to hotel building. Walking distance to Hakodate Morning Market. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel was a 5 minute walk from Hakodate station and right on the doorstep of the morning market. The Red Brick Warehouses were a 5 - 10 minute walk from the hotel and lots of transport options nearby to get around Hakodate.
The room we had, with an onsen bath, was very big.
The room itself was extremely quiet, having a door between the room and entrance area probably helped with the noise reduction.
The beds were extremely comfy and the pillows were not hard, in fact quite soft.
We had our own kitchenette and a nice seating area as well.
It had a washer/dryer next to the bathroom, separated to the main room by a sliding door - which again helped with noise reduction.
The best part of this room was the onsen bath and its sea views! We loved having a bath in the morning and evening when we stayed here, it made the stay even more wonderful.
We used the bar the one night, it was quiet and had amazing views over the city.
We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone!"
"Really fantastic location - directly opposite Hakodate Station (you can literally see it from the station) and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The ramen place next door (Shinano) has excellent Hakodate shio ramen but be warned, they sell out quickly so be ready to line up just before opening hours.
Very clean rooms and decently spacious by Japanese standards. The cleaning crew were excellent and really took care to make sure the place was spotless.
Great amenities - the hotel provides pyjamas which they change for you every night, and there is a section at reception for further amenities that aren't in your room (e.g. razors, tea bags). Washing machines are available on the ground floor for ¥600 per use (includes soap).
Just be warned for anyone with accessibility issues, that the bathroom is elevated above the room level and can be a trip hazard when trying to come back out. You also have to climb into the bathtub to shower.

"The clean room, the friendly staff, the enjoyment of bath on the top floor, and the fantastic breakfast made our stay excellent. This was our second time to stay at your hotel and we were very satisfied with it."
"This hotel is conveniently located right next to the JR Hakodate Station, which makes it an easy find. For breakfast, it provides a wide variety of local food which tasted delicious, such as the fresh seafood don and salt Ramen live station, and not forgetting the sparkling wine, red and white wine bar at the entrance. Room is of decent size and check in process is smooth. This hotel also comes with a laundrymat services, though it does not have an onsite onsen. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the hotel."
"Immediately upon arriving, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk and made to feel like a priority with their proactive and efficient help. The whole process for my check in took less than five minutes and the front desk spoke perfect English which was a breath of fresh air. Anytime I walked past the front desk, they were attentive and would greet me warmly.
The location is so convenient! Everything is within walking distance and has two Hakodate food specialties Lucky Pierrot and Hasaegawa yakibentos just a few steps away.
The capsules are well maintained and clean with a lock box for storage of valuables.
The bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day and my favorite part was the showers! Typically in Japanese hostels/capsule hotels, they have the same very small shower unit. But here, the showers are spacious as well as having a nice area for you to undress and store your belongings with a tiered storage unit.
Overall, a wonderful experience and I will be returning on my next trip to Hakodate. "
