"Chose this B & B as it was close to the Canal du Nivernais and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. I was the only guest but was offered a 3 course evening meal - very good. "Notre séjour de 2 nuits s'est très bien passé. Accueil sympathique, chambre de taille correcte et très propre, idem pour la salle de bain. Petit déjeuner très bien. "Very quaint hotel, full of character in a pretty village location. Restaurant was very popular with locals with a terrace option. We would advise ringing ahead to confirm check in time as hotel was closed during the afternoon when we arrived. "

"Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. Cleanliness is subpar, towels are older than my grandmother, and air conditioning is not a technology that has reached this part of the world. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door...

"Séjour entre amis à vélo le long du canal du Nivernais . Étape proche du canal , à 3 km de Clamecy où se trouvent tous les commerces et un très joli centre ville autour d’une belle église . En revanche pas de restauration sur place en dehors du petit déjeuner . Nous avons commandé des bocaux , moyens et chers .. excellent séjour . Joli lieu , piscine chauffée .. "

"Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door locked and nobody there but a sign that says call these 2 numbers. First number, voicemail, so i try the second and the voice on the other side of the line instructs me to find the key to my room AND the key to the damn hotel entrance in a secret box. So i do, and I go in only to find the place so dark I have to turn on the flashlight on my phone. With luck I find the light switch to the hallway, but the light is so dim I have to keep the flashlight on. The interior is dilapidated and a reflection of an owner that has given up a very long time ago and now is milking the place for the last few pennies. Disappointing experience."
